Nonprofit Cloud Core, Advanced and Max: Pricing for NZ Nonprofits
Salesforce now sells Nonprofit Cloud in three editions: Core at US$70, Advanced at US$125 and Max at US$285 per user per month, billed annually on an annual contract (as at October 2026). Eligible nonprofits still get 10 licences free through Power of Us. For New Zealand buyers there is no published AUD or NZD price, and Salesforce's regional pages disagree.
Everything below is as at 5 October 2026, from Salesforce's US, Asia Pacific and Australian nonprofit pricing pages, its FY27 pricing guide (PDF), the Power of Us help article and an archive copy of the US page from 22 September. All are list prices.
What are Nonprofit Cloud Core, Advanced and Max?
They are the edition cards that have replaced Enterprise, Unlimited and Agentforce 1 on Salesforce's nonprofit pricing pages. They share their names and Flex Credit allowances with the Core, Advanced and Max editions Salesforce announced on 3 September 2026 for Sales, Service and Industries, but that announcement does not mention nonprofits, and we found no separate announcement for the nonprofit editions. Salesforce has not said whether they are the Industry Editions pricing it said would take effect "later this fall". The Internet Archive's copies show the US page switching between 22 and 23 September 2026.
| Edition | Per user per month, billed annually | Flex Credits per org per year | Data storage per user | What Salesforce lists |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nonprofit Cloud Sales & Service Core | US$70 | 500K | 20MB | Nonprofit data model, fundraising, case and programme management, Slack Business+, Tableau Next, Premier Success Plan |
| Nonprofit Cloud Sales & Service Advanced | US$125 | 1M | 1GB | Core plus a full sandbox, Backup & Recover, Archive, Data Detect, Security Centre, Help Agent |
| Nonprofit Cloud Sales Max | US$285 | 2.75M | 1GB | Advanced plus Agentforce for Industries, Contact Centre Digital, Maps Advanced, the grantmaking suite, Slack Enterprise+ |
| Nonprofit Cloud Service Max | US$285 | 2.75M | 1GB | Advanced plus Agentforce for Industries, Workforce Management, Quality Management, the grantmaking suite, Slack Enterprise+ |
Credits are per org, not per user; our Core, Advanced and Max guide explains them. Backup & Recover and Archive are "Available for purchase" on Core and included from Advanced up. The FY27 guide adds an annual figure (US$840 per user for Core) and a combined Sales & Service Max at US$345 that the web page does not show.
How do the new prices compare with Enterprise and Unlimited?
Core lists US$10 more per user per month than Nonprofit Cloud Enterprise did, and Advanced US$25 more than Unlimited. The 22 September copy of the US page listed Enterprise at US$60 (AU$84) and Unlimited at US$100 (AU$140), billed annually. When we checked the Asia Pacific page on 24 September it still showed Enterprise and Unlimited; by 5 October it showed Core and Advanced.
| Before (US page, 22 September 2026) | Now (US page, as at October 2026) | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry edition | Nonprofit Cloud Enterprise: US$60, AU$84 | Core: US$70, no AUD price |
| Next edition | Nonprofit Cloud Unlimited: US$100, AU$140 | Advanced: US$125, no AUD price |
| Premier Success Plan | Bundled with Unlimited; otherwise 30% of net licence fees | Listed in every edition from Core up |
| AI, Slack and analytics | Not listed on the Enterprise card | Flex Credits, Slack Business+ and Tableau Next from Core |
Whether that is a price rise depends on whether you use the bundle. For scale, the 3 September announcement lists commercial Core at US$195 per user per month.
What does the Power of Us donation consist of now?
Ten free licences, but Salesforce's own sources disagree on which edition they are:
| Salesforce source (checked 5 October 2026) | What it says the 10 donated licences are |
|---|---|
| US nonprofit pricing page | "Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Core" licences; "Premier Success will be activated when the nonprofit makes its first paid purchase" |
| Asia Pacific and Australian pricing pages | "Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud or Sales/Service Cloud licences" |
| FY27 pricing guide, linked from the US page | Nonprofit Cloud "Enterprise Edition", free of charge |
| Power of Us help article 004754266 (published 27 April 2026) | "Agentforce Nonprofit – Enterprise Edition" or "Sales and Service – Enterprise Edition" |
What is clear: it is still ten licences, and the help article says they "do not expire". Because the US page ties Premier Success to your first paid purchase, a charity running on donated licences alone should not assume it has Premier support.
What we could not find stated anywhere: whether organisations already holding donated Enterprise licences will be moved to Core, and whether new applicants can still choose Sales and Service, which the US page's Power of Us wording no longer mentions. Check what the Power of Us portal offers before you choose; our Power of Us guide covers eligibility and applying.
What does this mean for buyers in New Zealand?
The new editions have published prices in US dollars but not in AUD or NZD, and the page meant for you is the least complete. Salesforce's region selector lists "Australia & New Zealand (English)", which points to its Australian site.
- No AUD or NZD price. On all three pages the currency converter has no NZD, and for the new editions AUD returns "Pricing is currently unsupported for this currency".
- The Australian page shows no figure. When we checked on 5 October 2026, its Core and Advanced cards showed a dollar sign and no amount. The Asia Pacific page shows US$70 and US$125.
- Old material sits beside the new cards. Both regional pages still describe Premier as 30% of net licence fees, "Bundled with Unlimited Edition", and link to an older guide listing Enterprise at US$60 and Unlimited at US$100.
- The last AUD nonprofit prices were AU$84 for Enterprise and AU$140 for Unlimited, on the US page until its late-September switch and in the Australian page's August 2026 archive copy.
Do not convert the US figures and budget on the result. Salesforce's 3 September announcement itself says "Availability may vary by region and is governed by customer agreements." Ask your account executive for a written AUD quote that names the edition of every licence, donated and paid.
What if you are on NPSP, or on a legacy Enterprise or Unlimited contract?
Nothing published forces you to move. What is not published is what your renewal will look like.
On NPSP. The help article says NPSP "remains fully supported" with "no requirement to migrate" to Agentforce Nonprofit (the newer name for Nonprofit Cloud) until you are ready, though NPSP is "no longer receiving direct development of features or enhancements". It describes NPSP as installed on Sales licences in an Enterprise or Unlimited Edition org and does not mention Core. The FY27 guide lists nonprofit prices for plain Sales Cloud Core (US$48.75) and Sales & Service Core (US$62.50) per user per month, but we found no Salesforce statement on whether NPSP is supported in a Core org. Our Nonprofit Cloud vs NPSP comparison covers the platform choice itself.
On legacy Nonprofit Cloud Enterprise or Unlimited. The 3 September announcement says "Existing customer pricing on legacy editions remains unchanged", but it never mentions nonprofits. We found no equivalent statement for Nonprofit Cloud. Unlimited customers applying to Power of Us are told to select "Product Discounts Only".
Get these answers in writing before your renewal date:
- Can we renew on our current edition, and at what price per user?
- If we add users mid-term, which edition are they sold as?
- Are our donated licences changing edition, and do we have Premier Success?
- What is the AUD price, and is it fixed for the term?
- If we run NPSP, is it supported on the edition you are quoting?
Which edition should a small NZ charity look at?
Core, and for many small charities only the free part of it.
| Your situation | Look at | Why, from Salesforce's lists |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 10 staff need Salesforce | The 10 donated licences | Free and do not expire; Premier activates with your first paid purchase |
| More than 10 staff, fundraising and programmes | Core for the extra users | US$70 per user per month; Premier Success, Slack Business+, Tableau Next, 500K credits per org |
| You need a full sandbox, included backup and archive, or more storage | Advanced | US$125; full sandbox, Backup & Recover, Archive, 1GB storage per user |
| You make grants, or run a contact centre | Sales Max or Service Max | US$285; grantmaking suite with Grantseeker and Grantee Experiences, contact centre tools |
A worked example: a charity where 15 staff need Salesforce (Salesforce says every user needs a licence) would use the 10 donated licences plus 5 paid Core licences at the guide's US$840 a year each, which is US$4,200 a year at nonprofit list price, before tax. That assumes the donated licences are Core, as the US page says; if your org runs on donated Enterprise licences, ask what extra users will be sold as.
Implementation is a separate cost. Our nonprofit packages are fixed price in NZD, excluding Salesforce licence fees: Foundation NZ$3,500, Impact NZ$8,500 and Transform from NZ$18,000, ex GST, with the 15% Pledge 1% discount on our pricing page already applied. We file the Power of Us application at no cost.
When should you not move or upgrade?
When nothing is broken, or when you do not yet have the AUD price and renewal terms in writing.
- NPSP works for you. A changed pricing page is not a reason to migrate.
- You have no written quote. Do not commit on a US list price alone.
- One feature is driving the upgrade. If backup is the reason for Advanced, Backup & Recover is "Available for purchase" on Core; compare both quotes.
- You are mid-term. Salesforce's pricing FAQ says "some products may need to scale together". Ask which before you sign.
- AI is the only reason for Max. Core already includes 500,000 Flex Credits per org per year; test real Agentforce use cases for nonprofits first.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Nonprofit Cloud Core cost? Salesforce lists Nonprofit Cloud Sales & Service Core at US$70 per user per month, billed annually on an annual contract, as at October 2026. Eligible nonprofits still receive 10 licences free through the Power of Us Program.
Is the Power of Us donation now Core or Enterprise? Salesforce's sources disagree. The US pricing page says 10 Nonprofit Cloud Core licences, with Premier Success activated at your first paid purchase. The Asia Pacific and Australian pages say Nonprofit Cloud or Sales/Service Cloud, and the help article and FY27 guide still say Enterprise Edition. Confirm in the Power of Us portal.
Is there an AUD or NZD price for Nonprofit Cloud Core? No. As at 5 October 2026 Salesforce's US, Asia Pacific and Australian nonprofit pages return 'Pricing is currently unsupported for this currency' for Australian dollars, and none offers NZD. The last AUD nonprofit prices shown were AU$84 for Enterprise and AU$140 for Unlimited. Ask for a written AUD quote.
Do NPSP or legacy Nonprofit Cloud Enterprise customers have to move? Nothing Salesforce has published requires it. Its help article says NPSP remains fully supported, with no requirement to migrate until you are ready. Renewal terms for legacy Nonprofit Cloud Enterprise and Unlimited contracts are not published, so get yours in writing before you renew.
Which Nonprofit Cloud edition should a small charity choose? Start with Core. With 10 or fewer users, the Power of Us donation covers the licences. Look at Advanced (US$125) only if you need a full sandbox, included backup and archive or more storage, and at Max (US$285) for grantmaking or contact centre work.
